Data warehouse development methodology and issues surrounding the planning of the data warehouse. Data quality and metadata in the data warehouse. Analysis, transformation and loading of data into a data warehouse. Development of the data architecture and physical design. Implementation and administration of the data warehouse. Introduction to data mining. Prerequisite: Admission to a HIM graduate program or permission of the department.
