BSN to DNP Doctoral program

The BSN to DNP program curriculum will prepare nurses who have earned a  Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from a nationally accredited program the opportunity to earn a terminal degree in nursing. The purpose of the BSN to DNP is twofold. Students will earn a terminal degree based on successful completion of all coursework. The program will prepare Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to become advanced primary health care to individuals and families. The curriculum content reflects the integration of various concepts that are essential for graduate education with a unique emphasis on primary care of the urban community.

The BSN to DNP program  incorporates the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty (NONPF) Criteria for Evaluation of Nurse Practitioner programs and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing ( AACN)s recommended guidelines for Graduate Nursing education, and Advanced practice
