NURS 320 - Maternity and Women’s Health 5 Credit(s) This clinical nursing course is an exploration of women’s healthcare with a focus on the childbearing urban family experiencing mild to moderate health variations and women’s health issues. This nursing course provides relevantcontent regarding health promotion, care of the pregnant client during ante partum, intrapartum and/or postpartum; women’s health throughout the lifespan; environmental and cultural considerations. The nursing student will utilize the nursing process directed toward conserving energy and integrity. (2.5 credits for theory, 2.5 credits for clinical)
Prerequisite(s): NURS 217 and NURS 323 . Clinical Hours required to complete = 105.
