NURS 321 - Nursing Care of Children

This clinical nursing course focuses on health, wellness, and illness of children. It is a continued exploration of the family and their childrearing practices. Health promotion, health education, and critical thinking strategies will be used in the care of children and their families. Students will use strategies directed toward conserving the client’s energy and integrities based one’s environmental and cultural differences (2.5 credits for theory, 2.5 credits for clinical)

Prerequisite(s): NURS 217  and NURS 323 . Clinical Hours required to complete = 105.
