PSYC 348 - Psychology of Minority Populations in the United States 3 Credit(s) This course explores the influence of ethnicity and culture on human behavior. It addresses basic concepts such as race, ethnic identity, acculturation and biculturalism. It will examine the psychological factors affecting African Americans, American Indians, Asian Americans, and Hispanic/Latinos in the United States. This course will explore the need for culturally appropriate and culturally responsive research, training and professional practice.
