SCED 414 - Directed Teaching in the Secondary School/Seminar 12 Credit(s) Emphasis is placed on the gradual induction of students into an understanding of the work of teachers in the student’s area of specialization through observation, participation, assisting teaching, and engagement in responsibilities common to all teachers of the subject area. Supervision by a master secondary teacher is a key component. (5 days per week). A Seminar in Directed Teaching in the Secondary School provides an opportunity for secondary student teachers to work on problems related to their student teaching. (Meetings as scheduled).
Prerequisite(s): SCED 324 or SCED 325 or SCED 326 or SCED 327
