SPED 201 - Introduction to the Needs of Exceptional Individuals

An introduction to and overview of special education, providing majors and non-majors alike with a broad view of historical, philosophical, legal, ethical, and practical problems and issues as they relate to the education of all  individuals with exceptionalities from the early years into adulthood.  A Field Experience of 16 hours is requiired for this course.
