This course provides the essential skills and concepts of elementary and intermediate algebra that are needed for further study in college mathematics. Topics include real numbers, exponents, factoring polynomials, function concepts, solving and graphing linear, quadratic equations and inequalities. Lecture
Prerequisite(s):
- Placement Testing
- Students must have an ACT score less than or equal to 21.
- Students must have an Old MATH SAT score less than or equal to 470.
- Students must have a New MATH SAT score less than or equal to 510.
Note: Credits are not counted toward graduation nor does this course satisfy the General Education Requirement in Mathematics.
