MATH 099 - Mathematical Foundations 4 Credit(s)
This course is an examination of algebraic and numeric skills in a context of applications and problem-solving to prepare students for Statistics or Contemporary Mathematics. Topics will include quantitative relationships, patterning and algebraic reasoning, functional reasoning, probabilistic and statistical reasoning, incorporating quantitative communication skills and technology.

Prerequisite(s):
- Placement Testing
- Students must have an ACT score less than or equal to 21.
- Students must have an Old MATH SAT score less than or equal to 470.
- Students must have a New MATH SAT score less than or equal to 510.
Note: Credits are not counted toward graduation nor does this course satisfy the General Education Requirement in Mathematics.
