MGMT 490 - Emerging Leadership: Theory & Practice 3 Credit(s) This course is designed to provide students with historical and contemporary approaches of leadership within an organizational context. Students will analyze the theoretical and practical frameworks of leadership in addition to exploring the symbiotic relationship between leadership and followership. Emphasis will be on developing leadership skills, decision-making & strategic leadership, and conflict & change management. This course will leverage executive-level insights via guest speakers, case studies, simulations, and role playing.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: MGMT 350 & ECON 211
