ECED 420 - Seminar: Early Childhood Education and Care


3 Credit(s)
This course involves students conducting a project-based assessment on a child at their assigned internship placement.  The completion of this course involves presenting artifacts that relates to teaching, professionalism, and philosophy statement.  The artifacts must have been completed, graded, and revised throughout their tenure at Coppin.  In addition, the student must show evidence of completion of practicum hours, letter of intent that documents and address their performance, and completion of required Maryland certifications. This course requires that students earn a B or above letter grade in order to meet the program and state requirements.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of all core and program courses Corequisite(s): ECED 421 or ECED 422
