A Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing prepares undergraduates students to pursue a broad spectrum of positions in marketing. The program prepares undergraduate students to apply marketing knowledge and skills to achieve organizational goals through critical and analytical thinking, and managerial techniques. The faculty is committed to academic excellence. Marketing is one of the most dynamic functional areas of business, and it is a critical factor for the success of all businesses. Marketing focuses on knowing and understanding the needs and wants of consumers and delivering value to them.
Students majoring in Marketing should complete 120 credit hours by taking 40 credit hours from the General Education Requirements in consultation with their academic advisors, 42 credit hours in the College of Business core courses, 24 credit hours in Marketing, 6 credit hours in business electives, 7 credit hours in general electives and 1 credit hour in CSU requirements.
